NOTD: Color Club Factory Girl, Revlon Blue Mosaic, LA Girl Glitter Celebrate and Revlon Colada Fizz This picture is on day 4 and I’m so ready to take this manicure off. Unfortunately, when I do… I need to chop all this beautiful length off! See, this coming weekend I’m going camping for 4 days and if I go into the wilderness with nails this long and beautiful, they’ll break/tear off and it’ll probably be painful. So! A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. In a couple days they’ll be short little stubs ready to brave the wilderness for a few days.

Moratorium on buying polish

I have more than 30 untried nail polishes waiting to be used in a manicure. I have a highly restricted budget going into the next month, next semester. Looks like I’m going to have to instate a moratorium on buying nail polish. I’ll have to do my best to ignore or delay any sales and new shiny summer collections until July at the earliest. A month and a half of no polish! I wonder if I can pull it off… 

I also need to find a storage solution for some under-used polish or nail art supplies to free up room on my display rack. I have more untrieds waiting than I have room for on my rack!

NOTD: Sinful Colors Zeus and Let Me Go

This week I wore Sinful Colors Zeus (a periwinkle, almost lavender base with a magenta pink micro-shimmer) with a coat of Sinful Colors Let Me Go (a stunning purple/pink/teal/blue multichrome) on top. It is an absolutely STUNNING combination. Unfortunately, because there is so much color shift depending on angle and lighting conditions, I couldn’t possibly capture the magic with photography. This polish literally looks completely different depending on the light and the angle. If you can get your hands on these polishes, TRUST ME, it’s a winning combination. And bonus: my manicure lasted a full 5 days before chipping which is rare for my nails. From $2 polish! So impressed.
